Hal ini tentunya dikarenakan salah satu lagu di awal karirnya, ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ (2001), yang kini sedang booming kembali.
Tentunya kepopuleran balik lagu tersebut disebabkan oleh lagunya yang menjadi soundtrack penutup dari film black comedy psychological thriller, Saltburn (2023).
Take Me Home Menjadi Terlupakan
Nah berdasarkan fakta tersebut, alhasil secara tidak kita sadari, ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ sukses membuat lagu-lagu keren dan hit Bextor lainnya menjadi terlupakan.
Yang mana salah satunya adalah ‘Take Me Home’. Padahal lagu ini adalah rilisan single pertama dari debut album Bextor yang bertajuk Read My Lips.
Lebih jauhnya, lagu ini pada dasarnya adalah lagu daur ulang (cover) yang sedikit dirombak. Aslinya, lagu ini adalah lagu yang dibawakan oleh diva musik legendaris, Cher di tahun 1979.
